For several years now, a different kind of influencer has been making its mark on social media. They are small, greedy, cute, and often very hairy. Their names are Jiff, Doug, Nala or Venus. I'm talking, of course, about dogs, cats and other pets !
They have built up a huge audience on social media. As experts in cats and animals in general, we looked into the subject and picked a top 10 of the most popular pet influencers in the world.
You're going to be amazed: we'll introduce you to the most original cats, dogs, and even foxes from all over the world!
Dog influencers
Jiff Pom
With more than 30 million followers on his social accounts, Jiffpom is the most followed animal on social media.
This Pomeranian (or dwarf Spitz) became famous by setting a few world records for running on two legs. In 2014, he appeared in Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" music video, which has been viewed nearly three billion times on YouTube.
Doug The Pug
When we talk about animal influencers, it's impossible not to mention Doug. This social media star was named "Instagrammer of the Year" in 2017. He attends red carpet events and hangs out with celebrities while wearing custom-made Versace outfits.
He lives the life we all dream of, while attracting 20 million followers on his social accounts by posing in cute and sometimes wacky outfits.
An 8-year-old Pug, Doug is definitely a must-follow!
Popeye the Foodie Dog
Popeye is a dog who got his revenge on life. This former stray puppy, based in Los Angeles, now lives life to the fullest: dressing up, traveling and going to great restaurants with Ivy, his owner.
You can follow on Instagram as Ivy takes this little gourmet out to feast in California restaurants. These are of course staged scenes meant to entertain followers: Popeye eats a balanced diet designed for dogs!
Below is Popeye's Instagram post wearing a pirate costume, which is also available in our store: pirate cat costume.
Tucker The Golden Retriever
If you join Tucker's 3 million followers on Instagram, you'll get your daily dose of kindness and humor through hilarious 15-second stories. He is also the star of his own YouTube channel.

Nala Cat
Nala is a true Instagram success story. After being abandoned, she was adopted by a loving new owner, who created an Instagram account to share her with friends and family.
A book, a cat food brand, a world record and more than four million followers later, Nala is the most followed cat on Instagram.
This mix between a Siamese cat and a Persian, a fan of cat clothes and costumes for cats, is truly adorable!

Venus the Two Face Cat
Venus, the "two-faced" cat, has an incredible and fascinating look. Venus's appearance is so unique that National Geographic, among others, did extensive research to try to explain her physical traits.
No need for clothes or cat accessories: this animal of such unusual beauty already fascinates millions of followers across her social accounts.
