ARTICLE 1: SCOPE
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales concluded through the website https://chic-et-chat.com/. This website is operated by Chic et Chat. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Chic et Chat. Chic et Chat offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from it, to you, the user, conditional upon your acceptance of all the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
ARTICLE 2: ORDERS
Automatic recording systems are deemed to constitute proof of the nature and content of the order. Chic et Chat® confirms acceptance of the order to the customer at the email address they provided. The sale is concluded once Chic et Chat® has validated payment for the order, that is, on the date payment is validated for orders paid online by credit card, or on the date payment by check is received. Chic et Chat® in any event reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment for a previous order.
ARTICLE 3: ITEM AVAILABILITY
Our offers and their prices are valid as long as they are visible on the website. The availability shown when the customer views the website remains subject to stock levels at Chic et Chat® and, of course, at our suppliers.
To build our storefront and sales catalog, we work with databases enriched with information provided by our suppliers. As this database contains more than a hundred items, not all of them are held in our warehouse, and our offer is therefore subject to the items' availability from our suppliers.
Only the permanent discontinuation of an item by our suppliers leads to its removal from our sales offer. In other cases, a new order within a certain time frame remains possible.
When an ordered product is unavailable, the customer is informed by email, or on the invoice for the shipped products in the case of an order for several items.
Order delivery deadline: when the order is placed and on the order acknowledgment, a delivery time is given to customers. It is calculated by adding the longest availability time of the products to the transit time of the shipping method selected by the customer.
Between placing the order and its shipment, the customer may cancel their order.
Special cases:
Pre-order items : upcoming items are offered on the website https://chic-et-chat.com for pre-order. This reservation is made with a release date announced by the publisher when the reservation period opens. The publisher, who is solely responsible for marketing its product, may change this release date at any time.
In all cases, Chic et Chat® strives, from the final release date, to ship the items to customers who reserved them, up to the stock supplied by the publisher for the release day.
ARTICLE 4: PRICES
Prices shown in euros are deemed net, excluding shipping costs. This price includes the price of the products and the handling, packaging and storage costs of the products. They may be changed at any time without notice, it being understood that items will be invoiced on the basis in effect when the order is recorded. All orders are invoiced in euros and payable in euros. Any customs duties or local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs include a contribution to preparation, packaging and postage costs. Remember to group all your items in a single order. We cannot combine two separate orders, and shipping costs will be charged for each of them.

You have several payment methods offering maximum security guarantees. You can pay:

Payment by credit card is therefore completely secure; your order will be recorded and validated as soon as the bank accepts the payment.
ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY
We deliver to your home or to a pickup point. The delivery time includes the parcel preparation time plus the transit time. Chic et Chat® ships worldwide. The buyer is notified by email of the various stages of their order: preparation and delivery.
The delivery time includes preparation time and delivery by our carrier. The stated delivery time of 10 to 20 days applies from when the buyer receives the order delivery email. The delivery time (announced by the carrier) in no way commits Chic et Chat® to a longer time frame.
ARTICLE 8: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP - TRANSFER OF RISK
Ownership of the products is transferred to the buyer only after full payment of the price, regardless of the delivery date of said products. However, the risk of loss of and damage to the products is transferred upon delivery and receipt of said products by the buyer.
ARTICLE 9: PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Chic et Chat® is the producer and owner of all or part of the databases making up this website. By accessing this website, the customer acknowledges that the data it contains is legally protected and, in particular, agrees not to extract, reuse, store, reproduce, represent or retain, directly or indirectly, on any medium, by any means and in any form whatsoever, all or a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases on the website they access.
ARTICLE 10: LIABILITY
The product descriptions in the databases of https://chic-et-chat.com/ were entered based on information provided by the publishers. Chic et Chat® is not responsible for the content of the works and cannot be held liable to the buyer. The liability of Chic et Chat® cannot be invoked in the event of force majeure (strike, flood, fire, etc.).
The products offered comply with the laws of France in force. Chic et Chat® declines all liability if the delivered item does not comply with the legislation of the country of delivery (censorship, ban on a title or author, etc.). Chic et Chat® is not responsible for the content of websites to which hyperlinks on its own website may lead.

These general terms and conditions of sale and the prices are expressly approved and accepted by the buyer, who declares and acknowledges full knowledge of them and therefore waives the right to rely on any contradictory document, in particular their own general terms of purchase; the act of purchase constitutes acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
